Kalui is a popular suggestion for “where to eat in Palawan” queries. For ambiance, it is a must-visit hands down.
I wish I could sing praises for the food. Perhaps the ambiance has set me up for higher expectations or that I’m not really a fan of cumin, which was present in majority of the dishes. The thick slice of tuna was surprisingly tender–even the tuna lover in me found it difficult to finish my share.
This soup was a bit different from the rest.
Whew! I still have a couple of Palawan posts to work on. Stay tuned for it in the coming entries!
