The Maokong Gondola Crystal Cabin Experience

Glass. Bottom. Transparent. Heights. Up in the air! Woohoo!

For a one of a kind experience

It looks like an ordinary cable car, but once you step inside, you’re in for a surprise.

The Crystal Cabin has a glass bottom, unlike the usual cable cars.

Thirty cabins were retrofitted with glass bottoms in 2010. The fare is the same with the regular cabin, so there really is no excuse for one not to experience this unusual cable car ride.

Finn must be very delighted

The entire ride took around 30 minutes (one-way). We alighted at the Maokong Station, where plenty of tea shops await visitors.

Walking around, I see this view. Hello Taipei 101!

The ride would’ve been perfect if I were sipping milk tea during the ride. Haha, pushing it.
