Milk Tea Diaries: Cobo

Even as a self-proclaimed milk tea lover, I can’t say I am the best reviewer of this popular drink because I rarely get to snap a photo of the drink before it’s too late. See Exhibit A.

Exhibit A

With all my attempts to discover if there is any milk tea chain that can trample Simple Line, the closest I have discovered by far is Cobo along Scout Gandia, Quezon City. Aside from the taste similarity of the tea, the coffee jelly is more chewy and larger than that of the Simple Line variant (which is called coffee konjac) but it’s almost the same consistency. One thing in common with my favorite milk tea is the inaccessibility (which is subjective). Nevertheless, it’s a good alternative to Simple Line.

Perhaps I should start compiling a revised list of my top milk tea stores.
