Studs and Spikes, Everything’s Nice

My Imeldiffic tendencies have resurfaced the minute I laid my eyes on these fab pairs. There was the SMAC sale (everything less 10%, as in everything! From spandex tablecloths to hardware supplies!) and it was inexpensive to begin with, so I ended up buying both in one go. One pair is a cousin of my John Lloyd Cruz-inspired shoes. The only difference aside from the color is the kind and number of studs. The other one’s like normal flats until you see the spikes on the heel part.

Spikes and studs

I really, really like the spikes, until I realized I might accidentally hurt someone with it. After wearing it for the first time, I discovered that I am the first one to get hurt by the spikes as it grazes my legs when I walk. But as they say, tiis ganda, so… work it! Just imagine the hassle of wearing the spike-crazy shoes in the airport. Haha.

A new meaning to “pointy heels”

I have always been in awe of similar pairs I’ve seen on the Internet and I’ve long given up hope on finding the materials I need for a DIY project that I would actually wear. Yay for ready to wear!
