Located along Scout Torillo in Quezon City is Chef Laudico’s Casa Filipino.
These are my plates:
I love lumpiang sariwa wrapper (weird, I mean, wired like that), so I was definitely delighted upon seeing on the buffet table that you can make your own lumpiang sariwa. I loaded it with ground meat and carrots. I went back just for the wrapper and ate it with the angus beef. Crazy, right?
These are my next plates, but I can barely identify half of what I ate.
And this one, a really good dessert (but it’s too sweet!): Frozen brazo de mercedes. I had three of this, LOL.
It’s quite different from other Filipino-inspired restaurants I have tried, but a buffet is a buffet nonetheless. The resto also has an alfresco area, so you would spot some outdoor patio furniture as well. It’s around Php 500 per head. Head over early because it gets jampacked from dinnertime onwards.
