At First Taste

New flavors I tried this month. Off we go.

Banana Leaf's Pad Thai, Thai Style

Banana Leaf's Pad Thai, Thai Style.

I find this better than the Banana Leaf version, just because this is spicy. The pad thai I tried before was too sweet to my liking.

Not a big fan of curry but I enjoyed the Roti Canai. I like flatbreads. Next time, I’ll try the condensed milk dip.

The sauce that came along with this dish was SUPER SPICY! I can imagine it as a salsa.

Banana Leaf's Grilled Squid

Squid is not my favorite, but it was worth a try.

And of course, cheap but worth every penny discoveries:

Chic-Boy's Cebu Lechon Manok

Chic-Boy's Cebu Lechon Manok: tasty at 99 bucks! It's Mang Inasal with a different flavor to it.

SPAM Jam's Spam Musubi

SPAM Jam's Spam Musubi is an interesting snack but the rice is overwhelming, I feel that a single slice of SPAM is not enough.

SPAM Jam's Musubi

The Musubi is just one out of the three meals there is at SPAM Jam.
