LEGO Goes Pinoy

LEGO enthusiasts came together to promote Philippine tourism through the exhibit dubbed as “LEGO Pilipinas, Tara Na” at…

The SM Mall of Asia, LEGO style

… the SM Mall of Asia. Cool, eh? This exhibit is the coolest thing ever. Not everyone can be this creative with LEGO bricks, so hats off to those who worked on this project. So many minifigs! *squee* But them minifigs is nothing compared to the volume of mallgoers who were there when we dropped by just for this exhibit!

Let’s “tour” the Philippines, shall we?

It was hard to shoot some of the “areas” because of the transparent enclosure, which is why some tourist spots are missing. I wish it was inexpensive to travel the Philippines—there’s so many things to see and discover. I have only been to around five places in the country based on this map (I can’t find the Chocolate Hills LEGO version photo) and that five includes Fort Santiago and SM Mall of Asia! Hahaha.

Thanks to the geek for the gear and for accompanying me!
